This event will be an important NEXT step in organizing for local food security. The Ucwalmicw Centre has been leading the way since 2008 when they hosted the first Roots Gathering. Since then the Centre has continued to develop food security infrastructure. One of LFM's garden tours last summer stopped at Ucwalmicw Farm, and we were all amazed at how advanced their food security projects have become. It will be very interesting for us all to hear their update.
